I have completed my first week in Doha, Qatar. Last week I was writing my blog on an Airbus A380 from London to Doha. I have now been here for a week and I’ve been working with my new team and after a few days of nerves and getting used to things, I think I’ll settled in quite well. The team is really nice, people are very friendly. Most of the company consists of expats from the UK, US and France. Only 5% roughly native Qatari.
For me as a Muslim, it really is a treat being here for many reasons. Firstly, there’s no pork or alcohol around although you can get alcohol in international hotels. All food is halal so is permissible for me to eat anything here. So even a Big Mac or Burger King whopper, is a treat as I can’t eat them in the UK where I live. Everyone greets you with “Salaam”, (Peace be upon you) whether you are in a shop or getting into an Uber and that really feels great.
Doha is an amazing and beautiful city, it’s easily the cleanest place I’ve ever been. When you come out of the toilets, somebody immediately goes in and cleans and makes sure that everything is gleaming. The second floor at work is a dedicated mosque/prayer room with marble ablution facilities. I’m not being ungrateful because I can do this back home in London too however here it’s just part and parcel of life and it’s just incredibly easy.
I’ve tried to look around the city a little bit but to be frank it is so hot that you always end up in an air-conditioned mall. The temperature has been somewhere around 44 to 50+° Celcius which is up to around 111+° Fahrenheit. It’s incredibly hot you can’t really walk in it for more than 10-15 minutes. As I’m going to be returning here frequently for work the weather gets much better between October and April so that will give me a chance to look around.
Even though travelling and working abroad is really exciting it can be quite lonely and I am missing the family a lot. We are FaceTimeing every day with my wife and the kids and with my nephews, nieces and sisters etc. It’s funny how when you all live together, you get on each other’s nerves, but when you’re away for a few days, you miss them terribly.
On the TikTok front, things are feeling a little bit stale. My recent videos have had less views and I’ve lost a few followers. Maybe it’s because I’m travelling and the content has been a bit different and also the frequency and timing of publishing the videos is a little bit unusual. I am now at 1,397 followers and 22.7k likes. Thank you all for being part of the journey.
Email Sequence
Once I’ve published this blog today and sent out my email to my audience, I have five emails to tweak with more engaging subject lines and trying to involve the reader more within the content of the emails. Once this is done, I should be ready to create the automation for the email sequence within affiliate system and then create a form in Facebook and then actually create my ad. It’s very exciting doing this but I just feel a little nervous and reluctant as I just want it to work and I’m worried that it won’t. Another mindset lesson to stop listening to the negativity and just do it. To be honest either it will work or it won’t and if it doesn’t, I’ll adjust it and tweak it until it does.
Affiliate Tools and Resources
A few videos back I asked my audience to read three blogs that I published recently about affiliate marketing systems and tools what they are and how they can help you. You can read the first one here. I went through various features that these systems and software have that enable a wanna be affiliate marketer like you to get started with the tools required. If you recall there were many different systems and many different software that formed the ecosystem that you will need to run your affiliate marketing online business. Even though some of these features are free most of them require a recurring monthly subscription to use that software or their services. If you add together the number of different systems and software you need you can end up spending quite a lot of money each month. That’s okay because you need to invest in your business and there will be costs to run your business like there is with any business BUT what if it could be cheaper and easier?
Another Atif Analogy
Now, if you imagine you’re a taxi driver and you have your car. To run that car, you will need the car itself, the wheels, the tyres, the fuel, the oil, servicing, MOT checks, insurance, security features, cleaning it, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Each of those things that you have to do to maintain your vehicle will require buying something or using a service that maintains that so that you can run your business smoothly and efficiently. And it’s potentially different places or companies or services you have to use and for each one you have to pay a subscription or a one-off cost to do so, over a year that could be quite a lot of money.
What if there was one service with a monthly subscription that would do everything you need or at least 90% of what you need with one cost. One stop shop if you like to maintain your taxi all of its servicing insurance etc. so that all you need to do is maintain it and run it.
The Affiliate System
Well, aren’t we in luck because that’s what we have from Dean Holland my coach and mentor and one of the worlds leading experts in affiliate marketing. He generated over $20 million over the last 10 years or so and he is teaching me how to run an affiliate marketing business. Dean has developed a system which he calls the affiliate system, which is a bespoke platform and software and community and training that allows affiliate marketers to run their online business on that platform.
And not only that, the beauty of this is that previously we talk about the different niches that you can earn money online mostly affiliate marketing i.e. making money online niche. Well with this system and the training that comes with it you can actually create an online business in any at all. So, if you’re interested in baking, gardening, fitness, weight loss, cars, books, needlework, pets, relationships, sport, travelling, in fact absolutely anything that you can think of, then this system gives you the tools, coaching, software and training to build your own online business in niche. How does that sound to you?
Big Problem
But there’s one big problem. It’s not available publicly at the moment as there’s only a select number of people within Dean’s coaching program that have got access to this system and software. I am one of those and I have been using this pretty much since January this year. I do know that there are plans for this to go public and in fact it might be very soon (in the next few months) so you’d be able to get your hands on the system that will enable you to build an online business in any niche that you like. You’ll be able to work a few hours a day, earn money working from home, in fact you could travel anywhere in the world and work for a few hours a day (once you’re up and running) and earn good money to build a lifestyle that you want for you and your family.
What can the Affiliate system do?
So as an introduction, I’m gonna give you a summary of what the affiliate system is, what it contains and what it can do.
HOMEWORK FOR YOU: What I want you to do is if you think this is of interest to you and it’s something that you would like to have access to, sign up to my free email newsletter and you will receive two free trainings from Dean on Affiliate marketing and then you’ll be able to email me directly showing your interest in this. Just to be clear this isn’t just system and software the whole ecosystem includes the platform, software and techniques you need to run the business, a community platform, learning and development, auto responder, media storage, email sequencing, calendar, and some other really exciting features which are mentioned shortly.
I’m gonna list the main features of the affiliate system and what they are:
Affiliate System – it’s a one stop shop platform with software and tools for running any online business following the affiliate marketing model.
Includes:
- Community platform – Better than Facebook community with access to the community, training, and weekly Q&A sessions, live events and you can gain points for engagement and get amazing prizes (special training, gifts and something I can tell you about yet)
- Coaching and support – Weekly lessons and training and support for your questions and queries
- Training – Bespoke multi-module training for learning the tools but also important topics like mindset
- Communication – Built in email/conversation system to communicate with your specific audience
- Marketing – email templates and communication system
- Webinar system – For holding and hosting events, live trainings or sales webinars. In the future you can create your own webinars with your own products
- Payment systems – Managing payments from your customers and receiving commissions for your sakes

- Funnel creating software – Your own funnel creating capability with 1000s of templates

- Industry leading artificial intelligence system to aid you in content creation. This is a feature coming soon and I have seen a DEMO. It’s just awesome. More on this in the future
- Technical support – Live chat technical support wears a day and help files available to you
- Many many more features – Many many more which I will tell you about soon
It’s quite frankly everything you’ll ever need and having used it for this whole year it is amazing.
With all of those features included it allows you to delete and remove many other systems or subscriptions and software that you are already paying for, saving you a lot of money and everything in one with just one monthly payment is a lot more cost-effective and easier. I can’t wait to show you this when I can!!
Next week – I’ll talk to you more about the details of affiliate system itself. I’ve been working with it for the last seven months and it’s truly amazing. I’m gonna start introducing it to you section by section. This is currently only available to Dean’s coaching certified partners. At the moment it is not available to the general public, but I hear this may change soon in the future like I said above.

Hey, Atif! I’m glad you’re enjoying your new job! Doha does look beautiful. 111 degrees is awfully hot, though. I look forward to seeing your pics and videos when it cools off later in the year. I like your analogy of taxi maintenance compared to all the systems needed to run an affiliate marketing business. That’s a great way to zero in on the awesome-ness of the Affiliate System’s all-in-one packaging. Have a fabulous rest of your trip!
Best of luck with TikTok this week!
Nakina
Hi Atif- I am so happy for you with your new opportunity working abroad. I can feel from reading your post that you are embracing this change and this challenge in a positive and effective way. The way you describe the city and the cultural opportunities that exist is wonderful for you. I’m glad that you have found a place that is accommodating to you and what you represent. I can also feel that you miss your family and true people back home. There was a time in my career about 25 years ago when I traveled for a straight year only back on the weekends. It was horrible even though the job was fantastic. But we didn’t have Facetime or WhatsApp or any of the current technology that allows us to keep in touch on a somewhat more personal basis. As you know nothing can Replace the face-to-face human interaction and touch. You will get there and you will establish a routine that will allow you to have peace with your new job all while learning to work out the personal challenges. It sounds like you have a good supporting cast back home and that is incredibly important. Now as far as your online business, I, too, I’m in the pilot for Affiliate System. It is everything that you say it is and if anybody reads these comments, please know that Atif has presented the real deal! Have a wonderful week, my friend!
Your description of the lifestyle in Doha Quatar including acceptable cultural food and prayer stations is fascinating to me. The cleanliness is also a cultural phenomenon. It may be hot but I bet you can adapt to indoor activities.
Your assessment of the Affiliate System is clearly outlined! Thanks for the lesson!
Hi Atif,
Great post! It’s awesome to hear about your experiences in Doha. It sounds fascinating!
The Affiliate System is fantastic!! Having everything in one place really simplifies the process and saves so much time and money. I love how it covers all the bases, from community support to email sequencing.
Looking forward to seeing more updates. Keep it up!
Meredith
The temperatures where I live were recently around 110 F, but that’s not normal for us, it normally gets over 100 in the summer – that’s already too hot for me. But it sounds like an interesting place.
I have affiliate system and I don’t even know all the stuff it can do, you did a great job of summing up all that it can do – very helpful
I’m so glad things are going well in Doha and you’re settling in nicely in your new job. The city sounds fantastic albeit a bit on the warm side. Your seque into the Affiliate System was a brilliant piece of writing. And what a great description! Who wouldn’t want a piece of that? Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to hearing about more of your adventures.
Great read! Your experience in Doha sounds fascinating, I love watching your videos—I’m glad you’re settling in well. The bit about everything being halal and the warm greetings everywhere must be such a comforting change. And wow, those temperatures are intense! I get the ice lollies out when it reaches 27+ in England! lol
Your TikTok journey is inspiring, even with the recent dip in views. It’s impressive how you’re balancing everything, especially with tweaking email sequences and diving into affiliate marketing, you’re an inspiration
Hey Atif,
I love hearing about your adventures with your new job. I’m excited for you. I am also very impressed with your progress and ability to manage all the tasks required to perform your job and make time for your business. I hope you don’t mind, but I copied the info about all the features of the Affiliate System as I have been looking for something in writing that provides all that you receive. Great blog post. Keep up the great work that you’re doing. I am rooting for you.
Your post about settling into Doha and the new Affiliate System was a fascinating read, Atif! It’s great to hear you’re enjoying your time in Qatar, even amidst the intense heat. I can definitely relate to the feeling of missing family while traveling—video calls really do become a lifeline!
In my experience, juggling multiple tools and subscriptions can be overwhelming and costly, so having a streamlined system like Affiliate Systems could be a game-changer.
For those just starting out, I think it’s essential to recognize the importance of investing in robust tools and training. A system that consolidates various functions—like email marketing, web hosting, and funnel creation—can save not only money but also significant time and hassle.
Keep enjoying your adventures and best of luck with your affiliate marketing journey.
Atif, that’s a nice list you have there with the main features of the Affiliate System.
I like your little disclaimer about being able to travel anywhere in the world and work for a few hours per day ONCE YOU’RE UP AND RUNNING.
I learned that the hard way while just ramping up on an online business model of days gone by. I was trying to set the business up from the comfort of a Mexican Beach. Everything was coming at me in Spanish and I eventually had to use a VPN and that’s a no no in advertising land. My business was temporarily shut down due to what they perceived as circumventing systems. And it took weeks after returning home from the tropics before I was back up and running.
Hi Atif,
Happy to read about your work in Doha. It’s one of the rare places that’s still on my bucket list!
Great description of what AS offers. I too can’t wait to see the day when we’ll be able to offer it to others. In the meantime, it gives us the chance to get better at traffic!
I actually changed my blog this week because of what you had posted in the Community. I really wanted you to feel that we’re all in here together, supporting us in every way possible!
All the best!
Atif glad to hear things are going so well for you with the new job! We do miss seeing your face on your old time zone. AS is as you say a great platform for accomplishing so many aspects of affiliate marketing I can’t wait to read more of your breakdown.
Hi Atif,
Congrats again on the new job and so glad you’re enjoying the work, people and experience! I understand it’s challenging to be away from family and it will make your family time much more important. I have a hard time in 25-30 degrees Celsius, I wouldn’t do well in Doha 🙂
It’s great that you’re almost done your email sequence and workflow. It will exciting to generate leads from your lead ad! By the way, great summary on the affiliate system, It’s made life and business much easier for me! All the best as you continue on your journey!
Denny
