I had a great offer and opportunity this week from a fellow Affiliate Marketer. She is a YouTuber and building her affiliate marketing business like me. She reached out as she would like to have a zoom call with me where she asks me questions about my journey and my life etc. We are recording it today and it will be available to watch on her channel and on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. I will provide all links as soon as I have them, make sure you tune in, there will be great value for you.
I have accepted the job offer that was made to me recently and therefore I have resigned from my current job. It’s an exciting and a little scary but I also believe that you should do things that scare you as that’s how you grow.
My dad continues his challenge with dementia. It’s becoming increasingly difficult for him physically and mentally. I am working from his home to be with him.
On the TikTok front, views are growing and are now at 1,382 followers and 20.7k likes. Thank you all for being part of the journey. It’s been difficult to post as many videos as I wanted to this week due to the new job and being with my dad. I still managed at least 1 TikTok per day so not to bad.
In this blog I’m going to run through some of the affiliate marketing resources and tools and give you a summary of what they are and what they do. There are so many that I will have to split those over 3 blog posts, this is part 2. Strap yourselves in!
Affiliate Marketing Resources Part 2
TinyURL
TinyURL is a web-based service that converts long, complex URLs into short, easy-to-share links. It is designed to simplify the process of sharing links on social media, email, and other platforms where character limits or aesthetics are a concern. Key features of TinyURL include the ability to customise the alias of the shortened URL, track link clicks and performance, and create QR codes for offline sharing.
For affiliate marketers, TinyURL can be particularly beneficial in making affiliate links more user-friendly and less suspicious to potential customers. Shortened links are easier to share and remember, which can increase click-through rates and drive more traffic to affiliate offers. Additionally, the tracking capabilities allow marketers to monitor the effectiveness of their links and optimise their marketing strategies based on performance data. Pros of using TinyURL include its simplicity, ease of use, and the ability to customise links. However, cons might include limited advanced features compared to other link shorteners and potential issues with link trustworthiness if overused. Overall, TinyURL is a valuable tool for affiliate marketers looking to streamline their link-sharing process and gain insights into their link performance. I have used this when I was trying affiliate marketing with Pinterest. Long affiliate links are not allowed on some platforms, therefore you can rename them by shortening them with TinyURL.
Fiverr
Fiverr is an online marketplace that connects freelancers with clients looking for various services, ranging from graphic design and digital marketing to writing and programming. Users can browse through a vast array of freelance services offered at different price points, starting as low as $5. Key features include a user-friendly interface, a wide selection of services, and a rating system that helps clients choose reliable freelancers.
For affiliate marketers, Fiverr can be a valuable resource for outsourcing tasks such as content creation, social media management, and SEO optimisation, allowing them to focus on their core business activities. It enables them to scale their operations efficiently, improve the quality of their marketing materials, and track their progress through detailed reports and analytics provided by freelancers. Pros of using Fiverr include access to a global talent pool, competitive pricing, and the ability to quickly find and hire professionals for short-term projects. However, cons include varying quality of services, the potential for miscommunication due to language barriers, and the need to carefully vet freelancers to ensure they meet your specific requirements. Overall, Fiverr can significantly enhance an affiliate marketer’s ability to build and grow their business by providing cost-effective and flexible solutions for their marketing needs. I used Fiverr recently to find a person that could create a Lead Magnet e-book for me. She did a great job but be aware that add ons like having an editable copy can cost you more and when they say ‘unlimited edits’ that means within the 5 days allocated not forever. It’s great for starting off in something you don’t know how to do but then you can learn and build on what they made for you.
Interserver
InterServer is a web hosting service provider that offers a wide range of hosting solutions, including shared hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), dedicated servers, and cloud hosting. Its key features include unlimited storage and data transfer, high uptime guarantees, free website migration, and robust security measures such as SSL certificates and regular backups. InterServer also provides a user-friendly control panel, 24/7 customer support, and a price lock guarantee, ensuring that hosting prices remain consistent over time.
For affiliate marketers, InterServer can be an essential tool for hosting websites, landing pages, and promotional content efficiently and reliably. By providing a stable and secure hosting environment, InterServer helps marketers ensure their websites are always accessible and perform well, which is crucial for maintaining traffic and conversion rates. The comprehensive security features protect against potential threats, safeguarding valuable data and maintaining customer trust. Pros of using InterServer include its affordability, scalability, and strong customer support, while cons might include occasional issues with speed for shared hosting plans and a less intuitive control panel for beginners. Overall, InterServer is a solid choice for affiliate marketers looking to build a reliable online presence and effectively manage their digital marketing efforts.
Namecheap
Namecheap is a domain registrar and web hosting service provider that offers a variety of online services, including domain registration, web hosting, SSL certificates, and email hosting. Its main features include competitive pricing for domain names, a user-friendly interface for managing domains and hosting, free WHOIS privacy protection, and 24/7 customer support. Additionally, Namecheap provides advanced security features like two-factor authentication and DDoS protection.
For affiliate marketers, Namecheap can be particularly beneficial as it allows them to easily secure and manage their domain names, ensuring a professional online presence. Reliable web hosting services ensure that their websites and landing pages are always accessible and perform well, which is crucial for driving traffic and conversions. The integration of SSL certificates boosts site security and builds trust with visitors, which can lead to higher engagement and sales. Pros of using Namecheap include its affordability, comprehensive range of services, and excellent customer support. However, cons might include occasional upselling of additional services and limited advanced features compared to some competitors. Overall, Namecheap is a valuable tool for affiliate marketers looking to establish and maintain a professional and secure online presence while effectively managing their digital assets. I used Namecheap to purchase my domain atifperwiz.com, prices are very reasonable for having you domain secured for you.
GoDaddy
GoDaddy is a well-known web hosting and domain registrar company that provides a variety of online services to individuals and businesses. Its main offerings include domain registration, website hosting, website builders, email hosting, and online marketing tools. Key features of GoDaddy include a vast selection of domain names at competitive prices, easy-to-use website building tools with customisable templates, reliable web hosting services with high uptime guarantees, and 24/7 customer support.
For affiliate marketers, GoDaddy can be a valuable resource for establishing and managing their online presence. They can easily register domain names relevant to their niche, create professional-looking websites using the intuitive website builder, and host their sites on reliable servers to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, GoDaddy offers various online marketing tools, such as email marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) services, to help affiliate marketers drive traffic and increase conversions. Pros of using GoDaddy include its user-friendly interface, comprehensive range of services, and reliable customer support. However, cons might include occasional upselling of additional services and the potential for slower loading times on shared hosting plans. Overall, GoDaddy provides affiliate marketers with the necessary tools to build and grow their online businesses effectively while offering support and resources to track and measure their success. I have not used this as Namecheap does all I need to do but is a great alternative.
Digistore
DigiStore is an online platform that connects product creators with affiliate marketers to promote and sell digital products. It serves as a marketplace where vendors can list their products, such as eBooks, software, online courses, and memberships, and affiliates can browse and choose products to promote. Key features of DigiStore include a wide selection of high-converting products across various niches, detailed statistics and analytics to track sales and commissions in real-time, and reliable payment processing with timely payouts.
For affiliate marketers, DigiStore provides an opportunity to earn commissions by promoting digital products to their audience. It enables them to browse through a diverse range of products, select those relevant to their niche or audience, and access marketing materials like banners and email swipes to promote the products effectively. Additionally, DigiStore offers advanced tracking and reporting tools, allowing affiliates to measure the performance of their campaigns and optimize their strategies for better results. Pros of using DigiStore include its user-friendly interface, diverse product selection, and reliable payment processing, while cons might include competition among affiliates and occasional quality control issues with some products. Overall, DigiStore is a valuable platform for affiliate marketers looking to monetise their audience and track their marketing efforts efficiently.
Amazon Associates
Amazon Associates is an affiliate marketing program offered by Amazon that allows individuals to earn commissions by promoting products sold on the Amazon platform. As an affiliate, you can choose from millions of products to promote, including physical goods, digital downloads, and services. Key features of Amazon Associates include a wide range of product categories to choose from, customisable linking tools such as text links, image links, and native shopping ads, and robust tracking and reporting tools to monitor clicks, sales, and commissions in real-time.
For affiliate marketers, Amazon Associates provides an opportunity to monetise their online presence by recommending products to their audience. Affiliates can create unique affiliate links for products they wish to promote and place them on their website, blog, social media channels, or other online platforms. When a visitor clicks on their affiliate link and makes a purchase on Amazon, the affiliate earns a commission on the sale. Additionally, Amazon Associates offers performance-based bonuses and incentives for top-performing affiliates. Pros of using Amazon Associates include access to a vast selection of products, reliable tracking and reporting tools, and the trust and brand recognition associated with Amazon. However, cons might include relatively low commission rates, strict policies and guidelines, and the potential for changes in commission structures or program terms. Overall, Amazon Associates can be a valuable revenue stream for affiliate marketers looking to monetise their content and leverage the popularity and trust of the Amazon brand. I joined this program this year, it’s quite a hassle to get your links to cover many countries and testing showed that all my links went to the UK store. This meant that people in the US are sent to the UK store which is no good. Spend the time getting this right. Also, if you don’t get sales within a set period of time they close your account which happened to me last week.
Udemy
Udemy is an online learning platform that offers a wide range of courses on various topics, including business, technology, personal development, and more. Its main purpose is to provide accessible and affordable education to learners worldwide. Key features of Udemy include a vast library of courses taught by industry experts, lifetime access to course materials, downloadable resources, and the ability to learn at your own pace.
For affiliate marketers, Udemy can be a valuable resource for promoting courses relevant to their audience. Affiliates can browse through the platform’s extensive catalog, select courses that align with their niche or audience interests, and promote them through various channels such as blogs, social media, or email newsletters. When someone purchases a course through the affiliate’s unique link, the affiliate earns a commission on the sale. Additionally, Udemy provides tracking and reporting tools to monitor clicks, sales, and commissions, allowing affiliates to measure the effectiveness of their promotional efforts. Pros of using Udemy include its wide range of high-quality courses, flexibility for learners, and the potential for passive income for affiliates. However, cons might include relatively low commission rates, occasional fluctuations in course prices, and competition among affiliates promoting similar courses. Overall, Udemy offers affiliate marketers an opportunity to monetise their audience while providing valuable educational resources to learners worldwide. I have not used Udemy as an affiliate but to learn new skills and increase my knowledge. I have bought courses on Google Ads, YouTube and other tools to increase my knowledge of the tools that I am using for affiliate marketing.

#Atif’s Academy
Hey Atif, congratulations on accepting the new job. I hope it works out well for you. I’m looking forward to seeing the video with the YouTuber lady. Well done on providing all the information on the various software resources and tools available. I hadn’t realized there were so many. I did notice your TT output had slowed down some. I wish I could even get up to that many. Haha. All the best, mate!
Great post, Atif! Your detailed breakdown of various affiliate marketing tools is incredibly helpful. I appreciate how you’ve provided both the pros and cons of each tool, as well as your personal experiences with them. I use Fiverr so much in my publishing business. When I cannot find what I am looking for on Fiverr, I also use Upwork. With these two sites, you have the power to leverage other people’s skills and save time if things like writing and design work are not your thing! It is important to know when to outsource and when it is important to put the work in and learn the skill. Great post, as always!!!
I think it is important when hiring and outsourcing to make sure you put an agreement in place, especially if you are using the artwork or creation of the other person, so it is clear you now own the work. And you should always vet freelancers on platforms like Fiverr. This can help in ensuring the quality and relevance of the services received. I have learned a lot of lessons about hiring freelancers, but the most important thing is maintaining clear communication to avoid any misunderstandings, particularly if language barriers exist.
Your journey and insights are always inspiring and informative, and I look forward to the next post of your series!
Hi Atif – Yet another great post. Thanks for the additional information about these resources. I’m actually using a few of those resources for my business. And in a former life at the corporate level, I used Udemy a lot. It was a very valuable resource. Hey, congratulations on your collaboration with a fellow affiliate marketer and I look forward to watching the recording. I wish you continued success, my friend! Have a great week!
Thanks for this extremely helpful info, I know about some of these tools, but certainly not all. I do remember when Fiverr really was everything for a fiver, and I got some great deals back then. Sadly it did not take long for the platform to get as expensive as UPwork, and freelancer!
I was not aware of DigiStore , so I an going to take a look at that and see if I can promote my products on there now that the WarriorPlus launch is getting on for two years ago
Thanks once again,
I’ve just become an affiliate for the You tube AI tool. Seemed like a good fit!! I’ve reached out to a few other companies, too!! What Alison said about fivrr is good advice.
Hi Atif,
Thank you for sharing your recent experiences and insights in your affiliate marketing journey. It’s inspiring to see your dedication and willingness to embrace new opportunities even amidst personal challenges. Your transparency about your father’s health and your commitment to being with him is truly commendable.
Regarding the affiliate marketing tools and resources you’ve discussed in this part of your blog post, it’s evident that you’ve found valuable solutions to streamline your marketing efforts. Tools like TinyURL for link sharing, Fiverr for outsourcing tasks, and platforms like InterServer and Namecheap for hosting and domain management can indeed play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency and performance.
Your detailed explanations of each tool’s pros and cons based on your firsthand experiences provide valuable insights for fellow affiliate marketers. It’s helpful to learn about your successes with these tools and the nuances to consider when utilizing them effectively.
As you mentioned, upcoming posts focusing on systems, software, and apps will likely offer even more valuable information for those looking to enhance their affiliate marketing strategies. Your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences for the benefit of others is truly commendable, and I look forward to reading more from you.
Thank you for the valuable information you’ve shared, and I wish you continued success in your affiliate marketing journey.
Best regards,
Atif,
I enjoyed reading your detailed breakdown of various marketing resources. I’ve used a few like Fiverr, GoDaddy, and Amazon Associates, but I haven’t tried TinyURL yet. It sounds intriguing, and I’m definitely going to look into it more. Your pros and cons of each tool were really helpful.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your father. I know that dementia is tough on both the person with the condition and the caretaker. Hang in there.
Sherri
Hi, Atif! My thoughts are with you and your family. I’m glad you have a new job to look forward to, and I’m looking forward to viewing your interview!
I’ve been interested in becoming an Amazon affiliate. I found your insight helpful. I didn’t know they would shut down your account if you didn’t make sales. That’s good to know. After getting it set up just right, that would be frustrating!
I’m looking forward to hearing what’s happening with you next week. I’m enjoying your journey!
Atif, many thanks for all the resources and continued prayers for your dad. I CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH YOUR YOUTUBE INTERVIEW!!! Please write about how you’re combining a new job with building your online business. Working a job a person has done for a while and building an online business is hard enough; I can’t wait to learn your strategies for doing it with the added complexity of starting a new job. Thanks again, Michael.
I love this series you are posting, Atif. I wasn’t aware of some of these and will look into them. Your posts are always so applicable. Congrats on the new job and keep up the good work in your business. The numbers of followers is a testament to your success.
